What is KuneriLite?
KuneriLite is an innovative Rapid Application Development toolkit to extend Adobe Flash Lite capabilities and create S60 applications faster, easier and cheaper. It enables Flash Lite developers to go beyond Flash Lite development without any knowledge of Symbian programming.
Do I need to pay anything to use KuneriLite?
It is completely free if it is used to:
- Just packaging/converting Flash Lite SWF-file to SIS
- If no KuneriLite plug-ins are used
How does KuneriLite work?
It simply extends Flash Lite on S60, allowing developers to use more of the device. KuneriLite has a very well designed plug-in architecture. It can be used with any combination of these plug-ins which results in a very flexible and lightweight system.
Who uses KuneriLite?
Any mobile developer uses KuneriLite. However we mainly target Flash Lite 1.1 developers on S60 platform.
How should I use KuneriLite?
However you want, you are free as a bird. We mainly use it to develop S60 products. KuneriLite enables us to use Flash Lite as a UI and logic layer, which saves lots of time and money.
Which plug-ins are currently available?
Currently available plug-ins are mentioned in KuneriLite Plug-ins. We are constantly working on new plug-ins and improving current ones.
Can I develop my own plug-ins?
Yes. We have an exclusive program allowing you to develop your own plug-ins and customize KuneriLite platform according to your own needs. For more information, contact us.
I need a custom plug-in, can you help me?

Is custom plug-in development free?
No, unfortunately it comes with a cost. However, it saves a lot of time and money by providing an already working system, solid architecture and professional services for you.

Do I need to register to get KuneriLite?
No, you do not need to register to download KuneriLite. However we strongly recommend you to subscribe our blog and forum, in order to keep your self up to date about updates and releases.
Why I cannot install more than one application with free version of KuneriLite plug-ins?
You can install multiple applications, if you don't select any plug-in from the list. Please also check that you use different application name and install folder each time.
For plug-ins, this restriction is due to technical restriction in Symbian OS: if same UID is used in two components, second one won't install, they are required to have unique UID (and name) always. This is reason why unique plug-in has to be requested from Kuneri for each application, in order to use them. There is small service fee is for handling the request and building the plug-in.
Can I create many applications with one plug-in set license?
UIDs are for single application, because reason above. But in practice you can request and pay for many plug-ins at once an use each plug-in in own application, just same plug-in cannot be used twice or more, new request is needed for each use.
What should I do to get copy of plug-ins for my application?
Please check which plug-ins you need and obtain required amount of UIDs from Symbiansigned.com. For one application you can choose as many and any combination of plug-ins you like from the list Then request commercial version of plug-ins from Kuneri. When you receive your plug-in set from Kuneri, follow these instructions.
How can I get KuneriLite with plug-ins for commercial use?
You can purchase and get KuneriLite Commercial here.
What is the target platform? Does it work on S60 5th edition?
Yes. KuneriLite's primary aim is enterprise product development. Therefore, it mainly targets development with Flash Lite and S60 3rd edition and further.
Does KuneriLite work on platforms other than S60?
No. Currently KuneriLite only works on S60 3rd edition and S60 5th edition.
Do users need to pre-install KuneriLite to run applications?
No, definitely not. This is the killer point of KuneriLite. You can distribute KuneriLite within your applications, therefore, users will never need to pre-install anything. In fact, users will never know if you use KuneriLite for the amazing application they are using.
Are there any examples I can see it running?

How do I create applications using KuneriLite?
There are many instructions and documentation available in KuneriLite Wiki. There are also resources in Kuneri Forum.
Can I use KuneriLite to create applications other than Flash Lite?
Yes. As long as you do not violate our license and general vision, you are welcome to use it for any creative purpose you wish.
Do I need to get my applications Symbian Signed?
Applications created using KuneriLite are naturally S60 applications. All rules apply.

Can I send my copy of KuneriLite to another developer?
No. KuneriLite is distributed from one source. Please give her/him the link of KuneriLite web page. It's already free.
What happens if I release a mobile application with KuneriLite public (free) version?
If KuneriLite is used just to packaging Flash Lite content, it is completely free.
Note: this applies only if any plug-in is used: It's not allowed to release any applications using free version. It's only supposed to be used for testing and experimenting purposes. Even though you do, you should be aware that no two KuneriLite applications will work on the same device. Only Commercial plug-in support multiple installations and work for released applications.

Installation
How do I install KuneriLite on my PC?
It's very easy. Just download KuneriLite and execute setup file. After the installation, KuneriLite Wizard will help you for the rest. Please check our KuneriLite Wiki, there are many resources available.
What is KuneriLite Wizard?
KuneriLite Wizard is a guide making your life easy to develop KuneriLite powered applications. Just run it after installation, you will see what we mean.
What are the minimum PC requirements?
If you can run Windows XP smoothly, it shouldn't be any problem to run KuneriLite on your PC. Some manual changes are required for using KuneriLite in Windows Vista.
Does KuneriLite work on Windows Vista?

License
Do I need to request/purchase a KuneriLite license for each application I create?
If you wish to benefit features provided by KuneriLite plug-in framework, then yes. But license is not required if KuneriLite (Wizard tool) is used only as Flash Lite packager/SIS installer (no plug-ins are selected from list).

I created a mobile application, can I distribute KuneriLite within the application?
Yes. Actually it's completely integrated, and there is nothing to do extra. It all comes within the package.
You can distribute your application freely, if no plug-ins are included within application package (because KuneriLite is not even included then in
the (application) package).
If plug-ins are included, KuneriLite Commercial license is required.
Can I use KuneriLite to create applications and distribute them?
You can use KuneriLite to pack your Flash Lite projects into S60 SIS installers and distribute them for free, without licensing Commercial version.
If you include any KuneriLite plug-in with your application, request Commercial version from Kuneri.
